The following is an incomplete list of audio gear and resources available for A Common Last projects. This system is specifically designed to support acoustic folk music and community dances.
The system is designed to be fully redundant so that any component can fail and an event can continue. It's important we keep the music playing!
- Main Speakers: 4 Electro-Voice ZX-1. Multiple speakers allow a second set down the hall. Tilt stands for focused and controlled energy placement.
- Stage Monitor Speakers: 4 Electro-Voice ZX-1.
- Sub woofers: 2 Electro-Voice SB-122. Not needed for most acoustic music applications.
- Mixer: Yamaha AW2400 16-channel digital mixer. Live recording supported. Reverb, eq and limiting on every channel. An i88X provides IEEE-1394 support.
- Studio Monitors: Yamaha HS50M powered monitors with an HS10W powered subwoofer.
- Mixer: Yamaha MG series analog mixer. For backup or sub-mixes.
- Amplifiers: 2 Crown XTi-1000 amps with DSP.
- Speaker Control: 2 JBL DriveRack PA RTAs with feedback control and for calibrating rooms prior to performance.
- Wireless Mic: Sennheiser EW-300 series vocal mic for callers and announcers.
- Vocal Microphones: Sennheiser e835.
- Instrument Microphones: Sennheiser e614
